Paul M. Gibson, Owner/President:
Paul is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-River
Falls where he earned a Bachelors of Science degree in
Mathematics and a minor in Physics.
Paul
worked his way through college as a member of a field
crew for a Land Surveying and Engineering company in
River Falls, Wisconsin. Upon completion of his degree,
he decided to pursue a career in the Land Surveying
field, working for numerous Land Surveying and
Engineering firms in the Twin Cities metro area.
In
February of 2001, he earned his license as a
Professional (Registered) Land Surveyor under the Laws
of the State of Minnesota, and in March of 2002
established Lakes Area Surveying, Inc. along with his
Wife, Kimberly, in the Chisago Lakes Area.
Paul
has 20 years of Land Surveying experience and is proud
to offer his services to Chisago and surrounding
counties.
In
his free time, he enjoys multi-species fishing with
Kimberly. His ultimate passions are for the sports of
Ice Hockey and Golf.
Kimberly A. Gibson, Owner/Vice President:
Kimberly is a graduate of Lakewood Community College
(now Century College) where she earned a degree in Law
Enforcement.
Kimberly also worked as a member of a field crew for a
Twin Cities Land Surveying and Engineering company to
subsidize her tuition costs. Upon completion of her
degree, she worked for the Minnesota Department of
Natural Resources as a Conservation Officer, before
deciding to pursue a career in the field of Land
Surveying.
Kimberly has nearly 15 years of Land Surveying
experience.
Kimberly enjoys outdoor activities including
multi-species fishing, golf, and physical fitness.
Mark V. Gibson, Financial Manager:
Mark is the newest addition to the Lakes Area Surveying
team.
He is
a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Stout where he
earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Industrial
Technology/Manufacturing Engineering.
Prior
to starting with Lakes Area Surveying, Mark spent 16
years as a Production Manager. Six years in Black River
Falls, Wisconsin and 10 years in Detroit Lakes,
Minnesota.
Mark
enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, hockey, and spending
time with family (wife and 2 daughters).
